Immerstive Outdoor Teaching around Exeter for the Eco-systemic Psychotherapy & Deep Nature Connection CPD programme.
Immersive outdoor teaching events held in Hoopern Valley and across Streatham campus formed part of the Eco-systemic Psychotherapy & Deep Nature Connection CPD programme hosted by Cedar Create in May. The programme centred on ecosystemic perspectives and embodied practices that strengthened relational understanding between people, place, and ecological systems. Guest speaker Jenny Archard explored reciprocity, kinship and place-based connection through experiential learning approaches that engaged “head, hands and heart”, while Chiara Fortina Santin introduced ecosystemic rewilding practices including deep listening, nature as mirror, and “dual hospitality”, inviting participants to cultivate meaningful relationships with the more-than-human world.
