Rose Wysocka (CEDAR) was recently shortlisted to present study results at the EABCT conference in Glasgow. The study undertaken with Dona-Marie Anderson, Professor Paul Farrand and Bryan Garber (Canadian Military) evaluated a tailored low-intensity CBT training programme for Canadian Armed Forces Medical Technicians. There was considerable interest from delegates, with discussions exploring ways to adapt the training to maximise acceptability for adoption in different contexts, alongside the innovative use of ‘minimal contact’ support for low-intensity CBT interventions. Discussions are ongoing with the Canadian Military to address an identified implementation issue concerning the most appropriate workforce moving forwards. Furthermore, ways to adapt the training for use within different organisational contexts such as businesses, are underway. A copy of the poster can be found here.
