Cedar Create | Specialist Training in Systemic Supervision
This one-year course starting in January 2026 will provide high-quality training in the key skills required to be a systemic supervisor, drawing on a range of models and research, with a particular emphasis on evidence-based practice and creative approaches within supervision. This course is fully accredited by the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT).
The course will be delivered by a team of highly experienced systemic trainers and teachers, with input from those recognised nationally in the field. Previous supervisors and lecturers have included Hannah Sherbersky, Mark Rivett, Bob Williams, John Burnham, Judith Lask, Karen Carberry, Jeremy Woodcock, Nick Sarra, Fiona Miller, Amy Urry, Baffour Ababio and many others.
Teaching consists of lectures, tutorials and a ‘supervision of supervision’ group. Teaching will take place monthly on a Monday and Tuesday, there will be a mixture of face-to-face and online teaching.
Competencies will be assessed through an essay, oral presentations, a supervisor report and a reflective portfolio.
