Psychoeducation on tics – the essentials of what you need to know
Please note this event is aimed at qualified practitioners employed at one of our partner services within the South West Community of Practice.
About the event
Psychoeducation is considered a gold standard first line intervention in the care of children with tic disorders, their families and schools. Based on this need, we offer a comprehensive package of training that can be used by a range of professionals working in services with children and young people. The day training will consist of content of psychoeducational information to be delivered, modalities of how this can be achieved, and role play for clinicians to learn and practice skills in delivery. Materials will be provided after the training to enable clinicians to use this within their own practice. There will be opportunity for a question and answers session during the day.
